Had a fab time! The old-school elevator was such a cool touch, and my single room was super clean with all the modern perks. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Only thing is, the reception closes kinda early, so plan your arrival. Oh, and I enjoyed grabbing a snack at the lounge area too!

The location was perfect for our family of five! We really enjoyed exploring Bern, and having a tram stop right across made everything easily accessible. The rooms were spacious, and the breakfast spread was just what we needed to fuel our adventures. Plus, the history of the building is fascinating!

In my wife's opinion, the nearby tram noise was disruptive for the kids’ sleep. A soundproofing upgrade would be great for families needing restful nights.

we had a nice stay at national. it's super close to the train station, which was a big plus for us. the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was really good. We also enjoyed the charming lift from the 1900s. it was fun to use!
